I am so happy right now.. I bought a piano!! I have been looking on ksl.com for about 2 months now looking for a perfect piano and I FOUND ONE!! I absolutly love it! I have been looking for a black one and this one is in nice condition! The owner before was a musician and so she took really good care of it and just got done re-finishing it! Yay! So I called up my boys (aka strong men, Phil and Neal from the ward) and they helped me move it! I wish I would have brought my camera and took pics of them moving it because they were like professionals. Neal has a trailer so they loaded on the back of his trailer! They had tarps, blankets, hooks, rope, cord.. everything! So they just loaded it up and brough it over to my place! It looks great and me and my roomies are thrilled!!

Why December 13th, 2010 was a GREAT day!
despite the fact that I have been sick for 3 months and can't breathe, smell or taste because of a nasty sinus infection.. today was a great day!
1) I told my kids that I didn't feel good today and that I had a lot of snot stuck in my nose (aka sinus infection in first grade terms!) and I asked them to be really good for me today! They totally were and were so sweet, kind to eachother and were not overwhelmingly loud! I LOVE THEM!
2) I am grateful for my 26 students. I love each one of them and cannot imagine life any different. They are my life and I wish I could take some home with me! They make me literally laugh out loud every single day! I swear they can tell when I'm sad or not having a good day and they totally make up for it in class by their love and humor!
3) i went on a beautiful run.. i can't beleive its decemeber with warm weather and NO snow! I love running by this one house where I can smell their laundry detergent coming out of their vents... mmmmm!
4) tonight was our ward white elephant gift and i may have scored the bEST gift ever! reindeer antler headband, justin bieber cards, a blow-up santa, a santa sippy cup with a straw and hot chocolate!! yesss!! my roomie marianne got a mathching antler headband and a book called "what men really want"! we will definitely be reading that!
5) i am having the dinner of champions! cereal was made for me i swear!

we be CRUISIN...
My sister Bailey and I went on the CRUISE of our life! It was so much fun! We traveled to Belize, Honduras, Costya Maya, Mexico and Key West, Florida! We tried to do something fun each time we got off the boat, and BOY did we!!! We had a blast! Bailey was a perfect traveling partner and was so cute at each of the spots we got off at. She was so kind and nice to all the natives.. stopping to talk to them, even if they were trying to get her money! :) These pictures are going to be out of order.. but enjoy!

happy 100 post!
so while I was on my run tonight I was thinking about something... DEDICATION and what that means. While running I saw a father dressed in a bumblebee outfit decked out in face paint. He was holding his baby girl..... DEDICATION! Then I passed the cutest old couple who were litarally laughing really really hard! They have had DEDICATION their whole lives toward eachother. I pass by a high school on my run and I saw a mother walking out of the school with her daughter who had down syndrome... DEDICATION once again. I ran passed another house where a mother was trying to herd three small children (all dressed up for Halloween in their costumes) into her car... DEDICATION.
K so this got me thinking about what and who I am dedicated to. Sure I am dedicated to MY health by running, MY career in teaching, MY bathroom by cleaing it, MY, MY, MY.. I am excited to be dedicated to more than things that just revolve around myself one day. I look forward to that day when I can dedicate myself to someone else, to little ones, to things that matter and people who care! My parents are such a HUGE example of DEDICATION! Dedication to their children in every way and Dedication to eachother!
...anyway... those are my thoughts... this might have to do with the fact that it is a Friday night and while having NO plans I decided to go on a run, clean the kitchen inside and out, clean our disguisting bathroom and now write on ly blog! yay! :)

The ultimate Road Trip... like we do
So this is how our Hava Supi Trip started, middled, and ended.......
We left pretty late Wednesday and made it to Las Vegas (Lake Mead) area and camped in a fun little campground right next to HOOVER DAM!! We didn't take out our tent and layed under the stars with the trantulas, motorhomes, and crickets!
We get up super early the next morning and make the 5 hour drive to the Hava Supi Trail Head. Little did we know that it would be CLOSED because of flashfloods!!! We see this sign.. but being the Americans that we are.. don't think much of it and WANT to go SO BAD.. we ignored the sign, thinking... if they really wanted to keep us out, they would have posted a bigger sign.. and like 10 of them.. RIGHT? RIGHT?
Nope.. just one measly small sign at the bottom of the road.. so we drove an hour up the road and then was turned down by this sweet villager that told us that we couldn't hike down to the villiage.. DANG IT!!! So we improvise.. We got onto Highway Route 66 and drove to some fun little towns!
Next, we head to SEDONA, ARIZONA!!! So much fun.. our first stop of Slide Rock, a natural waterslide!! It was so much fun.. and beautiful!
Then we went to some sweet Indian ruins!! There are soo many in Arizona and we pretty much stopped at all of them!
I'm pretty sure I was meant to be an Indian Woman. I am AMAZED and in AWE at the Indians, their craftsmanship, inventions, and genius ways!
Then we hiked up to some vortex's! A Vortex we learned is a natural energy field where you are supposed to feel happy, beautiful and entergtic! And we DID!
A little hike-em-ups!
Beautiful land!
At the top. Sunset. Pretty!
The next day, we did a little hike-em-ups on the HIGHEST peak in ARIZONA, called MT. HUMPHREY.. we liked to call her HUMPH!
and... more Indians Ruins! SO AMAZING!!!
