T.T.T.W.O.O.M.S

soo... the recent happenings.. My best friend from college, Low, had her birthday at the Olive Garden! Her eggo is preggo and she is just about the cutest thing there is! It was so good to see her and Mason. My sister Bailey was actually there with Mason's brother (blind dates are the best!)

Low!

B and her cute blind date... ahh young love!

..and then, me and the roomies are die hard Jazz fans and so one night we tried to go get some tickets down town and couldn't so we just went to Iggies and watched the game while eating yummy food. We may have stayed for the whole game and loved every second of it!

We're pretty hardcore! We love our Jazz!

We also love our BYU boys! My sistas and I went and watched their last home game. Can I just say that Jimmer really is amazing (for reals!) .. so are my sisters.. and so is Kneaders all-you-can-eat french toast that we ate before the game.. and so is the warm-up music..

okay.. and then Dani, Mers and I went to Radical Reels! It is pretty much like Banf Film Fesitval and there are all these sweet videos of extreme sports. Like dudes going 60 mph LONGBOARDING down a canyon.. or kayaking in South Africa.. or snowboarding down stair rails

and... we may have had a little photoshoot one night. For like a week straight Mers and I would come home and change out of our "real" clothes and into our comf Nike shirts we bought at Smiths. yes I did just say SMITHS.. like the grocery store!

love her!
Okay and real quick.. so recently my roomies and I decided to pick a night to make dinner for the whole fam! We each pick a night and make alittle din din. It is the best thing that has happened to me. I LOVE it! I actually cook on my night and try new recipes (thanks to one of my student's mom!) and then my roomies always make yummy things too! We pray and eat like a real fam and it's just great.. I know we're so cute right?

Hawaii was such a great vacation! Everyone deserves time away every once in a while. I am so happy I went to see Megan and got to relax! i lived in hawaii 3 years ago and so it was great to go back and see the sites again and travel around the beautiful island!

Eating at the best bakery EVER! If you are ever on the north shore.. it is a must!

Okay... so this lady was doing something weird on her husband.. haha Megan pretended I was taking a pic so I could get this one.. She must really like laying on her husband.. (i hope it was her husband)

sand art!

jumping pic!

yogurt land is pretty much the best place ever! it would not be wrong to compare it equally to DisneyLand, Christmas, your wedding, a Tahitian cruise...

can you say "Christmas in a cup"? DE-LI-CIOUS
Waikiki!!
So we decided to take a little nap and Cristine is the only one who fell asleep and she totally looked like a homeless person!:)

Hello Hawaii!!! So my best friend Megan lives in HAWAII and so I thought to myself.. "self, we need to go see Meg" and so we did! I have been having a blast and have only been here 3 days! The first day we went snorkling at Sharks Cove! We saw some amazing looking fish and a HUGE one the size of me! We have also went to the zoo in Waikiki, ate at yogurt-land.. best place ever!, and went to Waimea Bay and caught some sun rays! Afterward we walked up to Sharks Cove and got an acai bowl... best thing that has happened to me! LOVE it HeRE!

Waimea Bay with the girlies... did I mention we saw WHALES!!! they were jumping out of the water in the distance... soo COOL!!!

Cutest Chimp EVEr! He came up to the glass and put his hand on it, wanting me to put my hand on it too... it melted my heart!!!

crafts, crafts, crafts

So recently Marianne and I got in a crafty mood! We decided to make some fun wood blocks for just about EVERY holiday. We went out looking for all the supplies around 1:00pm one day and finished our crafts around midnight that night! It was super fun to make all the blocks! We went to Home Depot to get blocks (which was super duper cheap) and the nice clerk (who was flirting with Mers) totally cut 2 huge 2x4's for us! Nice guy!

Kristen serenated us with her singing and cooking skills!

I was meant to live in AZ

So last weekend, a few teachers from school and I took a trip down to warm and sunny Arizona. We signed up to run a 1/2 marathon and Sarah's grandmother lives down in Phoenix. It worked out perfectly that she lived so close to where we were running our race. I love Phoenix! It is such a pretty and clean city. The weather was perfect and after the race, we just sat outside and soaked up the sun rays! It was Sarah's FIRST half marathon and she rocked it! It was super fun to run this 1/2 marathon with these talented girls. The race is called London's Run and is in honor of a girl who died from leukAdd Imageemia a few years ago.

huge cactus in Sarah's Grandma's backyard!
On our way home we stopped at Hoover Dam and marveled at the NEWLY built bridge. It took 10 years to build the bridge! Hoover Dam is HUGE and quite an amazing man-made structure.
Im pretty sure the 24 hours in the car to drive there and back were way worth the trip to have a nice HOT weekend!
