Hawaii was such a great vacation! Everyone deserves time away every once in a while. I am so happy I went to see Megan and got to relax! i lived in hawaii 3 years ago and so it was great to go back and see the sites again and travel around the beautiful island!

Eating at the best bakery EVER! If you are ever on the north shore.. it is a must!

Hello Hawaii!!! So my best friend Megan lives in HAWAII and so I thought to myself.. "self, we need to go see Meg" and so we did! I have been having a blast and have only been here 3 days! The first day we went snorkling at Sharks Cove! We saw some amazing looking fish and a HUGE one the size of me! We have also went to the zoo in Waikiki, ate at yogurt-land.. best place ever!, and went to Waimea Bay and caught some sun rays! Afterward we walked up to Sharks Cove and got an acai bowl... best thing that has happened to me! LOVE it HeRE!

crafts, crafts, crafts

So recently Marianne and I got in a crafty mood! We decided to make some fun wood blocks for just about EVERY holiday. We went out looking for all the supplies around 1:00pm one day and finished our crafts around midnight that night! It was super fun to make all the blocks! We went to Home Depot to get blocks (which was super duper cheap) and the nice clerk (who was flirting with Mers) totally cut 2 huge 2x4's for us! Nice guy!

I was meant to live in AZ

So last weekend, a few teachers from school and I took a trip down to warm and sunny Arizona. We signed up to run a 1/2 marathon and Sarah's grandmother lives down in Phoenix. It worked out perfectly that she lived so close to where we were running our race. I love Phoenix! It is such a pretty and clean city. The weather was perfect and after the race, we just sat outside and soaked up the sun rays! It was Sarah's FIRST half marathon and she rocked it! It was super fun to run this 1/2 marathon with these talented girls. The race is called London's Run and is in honor of a girl who died from leukemia a few years ago.

On our way home we stopped at Hoover Dam and marveled at the NEWLY built bridge. It took 10 years to build the bridge! Hoover Dam is HUGE and quite an amazing man-made structure.

Im pretty sure the 24 hours in the car to drive there and back were way worth the trip to have a nice HOT weekend!

For Danielle's birthday, we took some friends up to go ice climbing! It was super fun and we had a blast. Danielle is super sweet and patient with amateurs! I love my sister Danielle so much and would probably catch a grenade for her (look up the song:) She is the bestest friend anyone could ask for! She helps me at school, gives great advice, is so adventurous and happy! She is entergetic, optimistic and loves life! Happy Birthday Dani!

Megan, Dani and I went to Grace and Claire's Ballet Recital! They were adorable and did so good! It was super fun to spend the evening with the Rowbs! They are a blast!

PARK CITY! Kristen and I took a little trip up to Park City for a little Martin Luther shopping! It was super fun and we ate at this really good brewery pub and then went to the chocolate store for some sweets! Park City reminds me a lot of where I grew up and is just a cute little touristy town!

So one night we decided to watch a movie in Kristen's room. This is a before picture of us happy, awake and alive!

Here is the after picture of Mers and I out cold, spoooning and loving life! :) This night was very intersting because Kristen decided not to wake us up, bless her heart, and she went into my bed. I woke up at 4am and decided to go into Marianne's bed and Mers stayed in Kristen's bed. So when we woke up, I was in Marianne's bed, she was in Kristen's and Kristen was in mine! We were a little sleepy that night! :)

Another funny event happened this night. When did woke up at 4am, I went into my room for a split second. I opened my door, surprised to see Kristen. But she was actually more surprised to see me! She jumped up on my bed, started screaming "whos there? whos there?" and then she threw a pillow at me!! It was quite funny.. and maybe you had to have been there.. but she was totally still asleep and didn't remember anything the next morning!

And lastly, I may have just impulse bought this cute hiking bag! Isn't it soo cute! I am so excited for spring and hiking! yay! I seem to impulse buy the most in January/February months because I am just so sick of the cold. Last year I bought a bathing suit in February followed by flips flops and a running tank top! This year, I am content with a fun hiking bag! yay!
